"Chup: Revenge of the Artist" is a unique film, recounting the tale of a serial killer targeting dishonest film critics in Mumbai, and the police officer tasked with catching the murderer. The film is the product of the pen and direction of R. Balki, renowned for his work on Cheeni Kum, Paa, and Pad Man.

One of the film's most notable features is its use of nostalgic background music and its tribute to the legendary artist Guru Dutt. 

Dulquer Salmaan gives an exceptional performance, and although Shreya Dhanwanthary's role is not particularly substantial, she is a beguiling presence on screen. Sunny Deol's acting, however, is not particularly noteworthy. 

One of the movie's main deficiencies is its lack of mystery elements, and the identity of the serial killer is relatively easy to deduce.

In spite of this, the concept of the film remains unique and worth considering for those interested in a film of unusual plot. In sum, "Chup: Revenge of the Artist" is a well-acted and enjoyable film, worth viewing for its unique premise and tribute to Guru Dutt.
